Install and pair

Download the APK on the phone that holds your bKash, Nagad or Rocket SIM.

Open it, allow the install, then allow SMS access when the app asks.

In the portal open Devices, press Pair a phone, and scan the QR with the app.
Keep it running in the background
Phone makers stop background apps to save battery, which delays payment SMS. Menu names differ between versions, so check these on your own phone.
Xiaomi, Redmi, Poco
Settings, Apps, Manage apps, ToruPay: turn on Autostart, then Battery saver, No restrictions.
Realme, Oppo
Settings, Battery, More settings, Optimise battery use: set ToruPay to Do not optimise. Allow Auto launch in App management.
Vivo
Settings, Battery, Background power consumption management: allow ToruPay. Turn on Autostart in the permission manager.
Samsung
Settings, Apps, ToruPay, Battery: choose Unrestricted. Remove it from Sleeping apps under Battery, Background usage limits.
